The announcement this week that the receiver for Blockbuster Canada has failed to find a buyer for either the business or to take over the stores does not mean the end of DVD or Game rental, infact it presents a great opportunity.
There are still plenty of people who have no intention or inclination to use online download services for movies – (even though Google has just quietly launched their own Online You Tube service this week here in Canada).
This could be the young generations next lemonade stand – pool all your friends games, DVD's etc and start to offer a local, in person delivery rental service – there will be plenty of stock available too at rock bottom prices at your local Blockbuster!
