Since the weekend I have been a little bit 'hit for six' as we cricketers would say. On Saturday night I went to emergency to get a painful foot looked at and left 10 hours later loaded up with antibiotics and a warning that I had a limb threatening leg infection!
Needless to say it was my fault because I should have seen the Dr earlier in the week.
I am now on the mend and just want to tell you all to take it easy and watch for open cuts and wounds – this type of infection is all around us and can be very painful.
