"Don't play too much golf. Two rounds a day is enough" – Harry Vardon
In the last few weeks I have finally managed to dust off the golf clubs. This is a major step forward for me because I have rarely played since my son Aidan was
born in 2000 and not at all in the last 2 years. He now will come to the range with me and the local range has a putting course – although boredom threshold is still about 25 balls in a bucket or about 6 putting holes before the sand traps take on more attraction as sand pits!
I have managed to get out twice this year for full rounds and plan to play in at least one 'tournament' a month from June through September. Playing a full round has certainly been a humbling experience in some senses, but also encouraging that you remember so much as well.
