4 Reasons Why I Think Everyone Should Read Unreasonable Hospitality

I don’t usually buy a book that a character recommends on a Netflix show.

But I made the exception with Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara because some of the best stories I can recall and share are restaurant-related.

IMHO this is the best book ever written on Customer Service.

If you’ve read it, then you know exactly what I’m talking about.

But if you haven’t, here’s why:

Reason #1: Broader Application

While focused on the restaurant industry, the principles in the book can be applied to any business or profession where the service of a customer is central to success.

This can even be your solo, micro or small business. The insights on creating a culture of hospitality can transform your approach to customer service.

Reason #2: Innovative Strategies

Throughout the book, there are excellent examples of innovative strategies for differentiating a business through exceptional service. This fresh perspective can again apply away from food to any business and inspire new ways for you to engage and delight customers.

Reason #3: Leadership

Will Guidara shares practical advice on leadership, team building, and fostering a culture of excellence. His insights on how to motivate and inspire teams can be used by leaders and managers in any field. This is how he focuses a lot of his time now speaking to audiences of leaders.

Reason #4: Engaging and Inspirational

The book is filled with engaging stories that illustrate key points and make the lessons memorable. The narrative style is both inspirational and accessible, making complex concepts easy to understand and apply.

Throughout the book, there are snippets of wisdom which had me noting them down.

It’s a book you will highlight and go back to.

I can’t recommend it enough.

Oh and if you are wondering about which show on Netflix it was – “The Bear” – also highly recommended.
