Hello and Welcome
Welcome to the exclusive page for follow up information and resources arising from my recent presentation at the EHS Meeting in Philadelphia. I really enjoyed meeting you all, you are a passionate and fun group. Also I trust I was able to get across not just my passion for the subject of personal branding BUT also its importance to you and your careers. I also hope you had an easier journey home than I did with the snow in the North East!!
As you know there is the opportunity for you to continue the work we started by contacting me directly and sharing your draft elevator speech or personal brand statement and get some coaching and feedback on this. Just e-mail me directly paul (at) paulcopcutt.com.
We will also be announcing a follow up session for you in a few months time.
Here is the presentation deck;
Below are links and lists for the various items we discussed and I shared;
360Reach is the first and leading personal branding survey. One of the core exercises to complete around your personal brand foundation is a values exercise. You can access my EvalYOUation Exercise here.
The Elevator Speech is fast becoming an over used term and sadly in many cases all sounding the same. Dan Pink has written an excellent book , and a whole chapter on alternative approaches to the elevator speech. Here is a summary capture of that chapter from To Sell is Human.
Other recommended books / reading;
A Whole New Mind – Dan Pink – the new world of work explained.
Drive – Dan Pink – what motivates people at work.
Strengthsfinder 2.0 – Tom Rath – identify your top 5 unique strengths.
Never Eat Alone – Keith Ferrazzi – great book on networking
As I mentioned it would be great to continue the conversation beyond our additional work and stay in touch. You can chose how you wish to do that in several ways;
