Is it a Mayday or May Day?

I have been reluctant to send out a newsletter over the last few weeks for a number of reasons, mostly revolving around a lack of confidence.

  • Mine
  • Yours
  • Business
  • Governments
  • Countries
  • The Human Race

Like many of you, I have been looking at and trying to figure out how to adjust to the new landscape, so I certainly understand we are all going to be in very different places right now.

What I do know is that some moves and strategies and actions I took last year have helped me;

  • Still have a flow of work coming in
  • Mentally handle a lot of the anxiety
  • Maintain a ‘healthy-ish’ schedule
  • Juggle kids and online schooling

But I also recognise this has not been easy for many and have also had doubts and concerns and some bad news.

The month of May for me personally in the past has been a very emotional month, often reflective.

But this May is different from any other May I have ever lived.

So I figure if that’s the case I ‘May’ (sorry bad pun) as well ‘Mayke’ (sorry even worse pun) it very different.

Over the next few weeks, I am going to be sharing how the month of May works out and what I am doing differently.

I hope you find it helpful for whatever you are facing.

In the meantime, stay safe and healthy and take a few extra minutes this May 1st to appreciate someone, thank someone, help someone.  Their mayday might make your May Day.
